Gabrielle Cormier
Registered Physiotherapist
After her competitive and professional career performing on cruise ships as an elite figure skater, Gabrielle realized her long time goal of becoming a Physiotherapist to share her passion of healthy living with the community.
Gabrielle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the Université de Moncton in 2012 and her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2019 at the University of Ottawa.
Gabrielle has always been active from a very young age doing a wide variety of sports such as soccer, ballet, swimming, downhill skiing, running, mountain biking, off ice cross training, all while competing at an elite level as a figure skater. Now she spends her free time mountain biking, training to become a spinning instructor, figure skating, practicing yoga and cross training. Her active life made her a strong believer in the benefit of exercise, physical activity and a healthy nutrition to live a life with no limits!
Gabrielle has a profound interest in orthopedics and sports-related injuries in athletes and patients of any age and activity level. She is a certified Sports First Responder and certified Level 1 in Manual Therapy.
Gabrielle continuously works on her professional development to offer the best quality
services to her patients to get them back to doing what they love most as soon as possible with a hands-on therapy approach, rehabilitation exercises and education.
