DR. Serina Khater

M.Sc. MD CCPF(SEM) Dip Sports Med

Dr. Khater completed her medical school at the University of Ottawa. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Ottawa. She then transferred to McGill university to complete her fellowship in Sports Medicine and acquired her diploma with the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine. She returned to Ottawa for her medical practice.

Dr. Khater provided coverage for various varsity teams during her fellowship such as hockey, volleyball and lacrosse and she provided medical coverage at events such as the speed skating championships in Montreal.

Dr. Khater is passionate about maintaining wellness and physical activity. She is also passionate about teaching, Dr. Khater is a lecturer in the family medicine department at the University of Ottawa.
