Caroline Matte
Registered Physiotherapist
Caroline is a bilingual registered physiotherapist who earned both her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics (2017) and her Master of Health Science in Physiotherapy (2020) from the University of Ottawa.
Passionate about promoting active, healthy lifestyles for individuals of all ages, Caroline is committed to empowering her patients through education and health literacy. She believes in a collaborative approach to rehabilitation, encouraging patients to take an active role in their recovery. Her treatments incorporate manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, and education to guide clients through each step of their rehabilitation journey.
Dedicated to lifelong learning and professional development, Caroline has pursued numerous post-graduate courses. She is certified to provide acupuncture and dry needling, which she integrates into her treatment plans to enhance outcomes.
In recent years, Caroline has developed a strong interest in women’s health and has completed training in this area, including:
- Non-Internal Introduction to Pelvic Health
- Level 1: The Physical Therapy Approach to Urinary Incontinence
- Level 2: Treating Pelvic Pain Through a Trauma-Informed Lens
- Level 3: Biopsychosocial Reframed
- Pregnancy, Pelvic Girdle Pain, and the Pelvic Floor
Caroline has experience working with a wide range of individuals, from recreational to competitive athletes, including hockey, soccer, volleyball players, and dancers.
Outside the clinic, Caroline enjoys staying active through regular exercise. On weekends, she can often be found baking, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends!
